The Local Music Scene
The Local Music Scene is a television series I created, hosted, edited and produced for The Needham Channel. I used Apple Live Type to create the opening graphics and Final Cut Pro for the show production. The opening music clip is from an original song I composed and recorded. During the show I interviewed local Boston based bands and video taped their performances. Interviews and performances were recorded both on and off site. I produced 30 episodes for the Needham Channel.
The purpose of the television series was to give viewers an inside look of what it's like for musician's working together in a band and to allow viewers to identify with musicians as people, not just as performers. It also gave bands free exposure to help expand their fan base. The following video segments are some of my best work from the series.
